Levelling Up..

Recently lot of debate has been happening in India about reservations. Its been such a hot topic that it refuses to die down. Recently Mayawati introduced reservations in public-private partnership companies and contractors for Government.

Everyone knows why British was so successful in conquering mammoth India. Its 'Divide and Conquer'. Well our modern politicians are just trying that.

I'm not against Reservations. I'm just against the way it has been implemented. I agree that the backward caste people have been the sufferers in our society. That does not mean you give them seat you give them job and you feed them. I remember Vivekananda's quotation - Its leveling up that is required and not leveling down. 100% true. What we need is empowerment of people so that they find there own ways of living. Everyone has the right for the education. And they should fight to earn their right. Its not a privilege some have and others robbed. So the answer lies in improving the basic education. Attack the root. Eliminate the need for reservation. Let all fight for the seat in CET or IIT-Jee or AIEEE on common grounds. That's when we achieve real equality.

We have to relentlessly upgrade our basic education. Its not just improving the infrastructure that will help us, its also showing people the importance of education.
